Do Not Deliver Contaminated Petroleum

Any person who knowingly delivers contaminated petroleum to any person for distribution shall be guilty of an offence and is liable to be fined or imprisoned.

Illegal to Sell Contaminated Petroleum

Any person who knowingly sells or offers for sale contaminated petroleum, is guilty of an offence and can be fined or imprisoned. If convicted, the license granted under the Act is by virtue of the conviction revoked.

Persons Selling or Hauling Petroleum Must be Registered

It is a criminal offence to sell petroleum unless the person doing so is licensed under the Act. It is also a criminal offence to engage in the business of transporting petroleum unless the person doing so is a licensed haulage contractor and is registered under the Act. If convicted the individual can be fined or imprisoned.
