• Textbook Survey 2017

    The Annual School Textbook Survey was conducted by the Consumer Affairs Commission (CAC) between July 24 and August 2, 2017. Price and availability data on 133 popular textbooks was obtained from 95 retailers islandwide: 30 bookstores in the Greater Kingston Metropolitan Area (Kingston, St. Andrew, Portmore and Spanish Town) and 65 from Other Urban Centres (urban towns of all other parishes). The books surveyed consisted of ninety (90) secondary level, thirty (30) primary level and thirteen (13) infant level textbooks covering seventeen subject areas.      Click here for details

    It was all smiles as the Memorandum of Understanding between the Consumer Affairs Commission (CAC) and the Office of the Public Defender (OPD) was signed on July 13, 2017.
